PLEASE READ NOTICE CAREFULLY. BY ACCESSING, BROWSING, OR USING THIS WEBSITE, ONLINE SERVICE OR MOBILE APPLICATION, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS DESCRIBED HEREIN AND ALL TERMS INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE, ALONG WITH ANY AND ALL APPLICABLE LAWS AND REGULATIONS. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE, ONLINE SERVICE OR MOBILE APPLICATION.
Privacy Policy
This privacy notice explains how Montclair Indoor Golf Club LLC (Montclair IGC) (“we”, “us”) handles personal information collected through www.MontclairIGC.com, our booking app, and our club. It covers:
- What information we collect and why;
- Who we share it with;
- How long we keep it and how it is secured;
- Your choices, including seeing, correcting or deleting your information; and
- How we tell you about changes and how to reach us.
Information We Collect
Account. Your name, email address and, if you give it to us, your phone number. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email or with your Google account; we never ask for or store a password. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name and email address with us.
Membership and bookings. Your plan and billing dates, the hours in your account, your bookings and cancellations, your favorite bay, and lesson or coaching purchases.
Waiver. The waiver version you signed, when you signed it, and the name you signed with.
Club entry. When you open a club door from the app, we record your name, the door, the time and the booking it was for, how far your phone was from the door (your phone shares its location only when you tap a door), and an identifier for the phone you used. This keeps the club secure and helps us resolve any access problems.
Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your full card number goes directly to Stripe and is never stored by us. We can see limited details such as the card type, the last four digits, the expiration date and your payment history. With your OK, our staff can charge a saved card for bookings and lessons they make for you, at the listed price; you get a confirmation each time.
Messages and requests. What you send us when you email, call or text the club.
Website and app use. Basic technical information such as your device, browser, IP address and the pages you visit, kept for security and to keep the service working.
How We Use It
- To run your account, bookings, membership and club access.
- To take payments, send receipts and handle refunds.
- To send messages you need, such as sign-in links, booking confirmations, reminders and changes to your membership.
- To tell you about club news, events and offers. You can opt out of these at any time.
- To keep the club, the website and the app safe and to prevent misuse.
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
Who We Share It With
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the club, and only what each one needs to do its job:
- Stripe, for payments.
- Google, if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Supabase, which stores our club database.
- Vercel, which hosts our website and app.
- Resend, which sends our emails.
- Avigilon Alta, which runs our door access.
- Twilio, which sends our text messages.
These providers may only use your information to provide their service to us. We may also share information when the law requires it or to protect the safety of our members, staff or club.
Text messages: we never share mobile phone numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Text Messages
If you give us your mobile number, we may text you about your bookings, your account and the club. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.
Cookies
We use cookies that are needed to keep you signed in and to keep the website and app secure. We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing data. Your browser settings let you block cookies, but you will not be able to sign in without them.
How Long We Keep It
We keep your information while you have an account with us and as long as we need it afterward for our records, for example payment and tax records and waiver records. Club entry records are kept as long as needed to keep the club secure. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
Security
Information you send us is encrypted in transit. Your account information is stored so that only you, and staff who need it for their job, can see it. Payment card details are handled by Stripe and never stored on our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will tell you if a problem affects you.
Your Choices
You can ask us at any time to:
- Show you the information we have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information, except what we must keep by law or for our records.
- Stop sending you marketing emails or texts.
Email help@MontclairIGC.com or call the club and we will take care of it.
